24 lovely years on this Earth. Discovering who I am, who I’m not, what being a friend, lover, and creative means to me, I learned to trust my intuition, I learned to be more playful and carefree in spirit. Life was never that serious. I have taken so much time for myself, digging up my shadow. I have found more than the trauma I have held onto, but also the passion and creative freedom I have held myself back from. I have learned that your shadow does not just carry things you need to work through or let go of… it is also where your inner child hides to play. Where your talents, passions, and childlike expressions lie. The best parts of ourselves that we water down and wait until we are given the “okay” by society to finally let it free. It doesn’t matter how old you are, the world can swallow you whole. Forgetting the drive, the passion, and the purpose along the way.

I have learned to be grateful for the tribulations thrown my way. When the hard times do come its been easier to push through. I have found a new sense of faith and understanding that every time I’m stuck, things work out for the better. The Universe works for me, not against me. Then there are the cycles we can get stuck in, and I even found a deeper appreciation for those too! I look at it as a wake up call, and most cycles we get trapped in exist purely due to ignoring our intuition. Allowing us to stay comfortable in something we are familiar with, and seems easier. Although, the easier path tends to unfold as the hard fast lane. If you want to get something done, take the long slow lane. Enjoy the view, gain knowledge from the experience, build a background to your ever-unfolding story.

I have learned that if you love something, just do it. Go for it. Don’t place a money value on the hobbies you enjoy, or the passions that drive you. Allow your inner child to be free and creatively express in everything…
